The Review

It all started with images in the “review”

floating slowly in the night of missing words.

Twenty five fishes struggling in

a broken net, looking for nothing but survival.

The starry skyline shining in the horizon

at her, at him, at their blue love and hatred.

The girl in red kissing the hummingbird,

both in a cage; both inside the wooden frame.

The three angels, hand in hand,

in pride , they break through the soldiers’ parade.

Still no words. Still no hope.

Not tonight.

“Grief is like a moving river, so that’s what I mean by it’s always changing. It’s a strange thing to say because I’m at heart an optimistic person, but I would say in some ways it just gets worse. It’s just that the more time that passes, the more you miss someone.”

Season 2

The whole town has fallen asleep.

As the blinds narrate their wandering lives,

their world is magnified into nothing but a fantasy.

Calm is the night, hiding the miracles in its arms.

Full is the moon, lighting up the alleys and the brooks.

Your journey proceeds to the dust and I dare you to

seek me,

sit beside me,

seal the night with a kiss,

and confess the truth of redemption.
