Did you know that statistically today is the most depressing day of the whole year?!!

People start receiving their credit card bills and start realizing how they’ve screwed up during their holidays… They also realize that twenty two days have already passed and they haven’t really stuck to their new year’s resolution… The days are still short and there is no light out there and more importantly it’s Monday!!!

People in the office told me that I look like I’ve come from another world today… I don’t know if this is a bad thing or perhaps a compliment… All I know is that I’m still suffering from my 2007 insomnia and haven’t fully recovered from the cold I caught few days ago… I feel like singing The Mamas & The Papas… Monday, monday, can’t trust that day… Ba-da ba-da-da-da… Monday, monday…

Will be yoga-ing this evening and that should help…

I know, I know… I’ve been lazy, not blogging and updating this thing!!!

As for me, things are great and exciting around here, apart from the cash flow which SUCKS (too many trips in 2006 I reckon!)… But, I’m not going to kick myself too hard if I’ve messed up money-wise, as I had an absolutely great year full of lovely short trips and I’m working pretty darn hard again… The big boss was here and the meetings went quite well… I couldn’t believe my ears when she asked how long ago I moved to the States?!! Why can’t they get it? Canada is not – and I repeat, NOT – part of the US of A for heaven’s sake!

My gut instinct tells me I’m going to catch a cold… My throat is feeling a bit funny today and my head is getting heavy…

I’ll be back with more energy and that’s a promise…
