SF… Yes!

Here I am again in lovely San Francisco… After an *amazingly* exciting week at the Corporate, I am indeed ready for some rock and roll in the Golden Gate city… I’ll be off for few days until I get this blog up and running again…

Have yourselves a fabulous weekend…

El Pueblo de San José de Guadalupe…

It’s 5ish post meridiem and I’m blogging from the sunny Saint Joseph (!)…Yes!

After a relatively bumpy flight I finally arrived a few hours ago and everything is bright and pleasant now… As for me, I’m delighted and more grateful than ever while suffering from a lack of ZzzZzz!

I’ll be back with more posts soon… In the meantime, I’m sending you my biggest smiles… Catch them if you can 🙂

S

aujourd’hui… on my VeNtI mild:

“I used to feel so alone in the city. All those gazillions of people and then me, on the outside. Because how do you meet a new person? I was very stumped by this for many years. And then I realized, you just say, “hi.” They may ignore you. Or you may marry them. And that possibility is worth that one word.”

The Ultimate Ride…

This is dedicated to you…

I, I am tired of another door slamming in my face;
in my restless night and days…
You, you are tired of the line between fact and farce;
that broken thin line in your lies…
She, she is tired of letting fate take its course;
her written fate makes him mourn…
He, he is tired of looking for the obvious discoveries;
beyond her dishonest stories…
We, we are all tired of their judgmental gaze;
those bastard heartbreakers…
You, you are all tired of hiding your feelings;
that will fuel your desire to love-fallings…
They, they are all tired of this wicked world;
the emptiness and nothingness of this cruel world…
I, I am waiting for that light;
for the ride that sparks us up in the moonlight…

The Land of Sleep…

… And I’m trying to write down my thoughts:

In the lightness that is not light,
sweep your way to the land of sleep.
In the desert far from desert,
dream a life you always dreamed.

Sole in your unfelt soul,
make magic with her presence.
While remaining anonymous,
let her celebrate your existence.

Go Dim…

I’m planning on attending Earth Hour tomorrow, March 29, 2008… Yes! Yes! I just found out that all the signs, ads and lights of Yonge-Dundas Square will be going dark during Earth Hour… How fabulous I would say!

Torontonians, here are some Earth Hour events in the city:

  • March 29, 2008 @ 8pm – Ontario Science Centre (770 Don Mills Rd.) celebrates Earth Hour with free activities – environmentally-themed story-telling, music and art; telescopic observations of Mars and Saturn; dancing to the star with and an Earth Hour DJ set and more.
  • March 29, 2008 @ 8pm – Starbucks at Yonge St. & Brookdale, north of Lawrence Ave. Enjoy your beverage by candlelight; participate in guided coffee tastings by the fireplace… Mmmmm…
  • March 29, 2008 from 7:45pm to 9:00pm – Big Stretch Yoga Centre (1560 Bayview Ave., Ste. 303) supports Earth Hour and the World Wildlife Fund with a candlelit yoga class… How relaxing I reckon! Must reserve @ 416-486-4448.
  • March 29, 2008 @ 7:30pm – The Art of Cheese offers a “Celebration of Canadian Wine & Artisanal Cheeses” with a candlelight tasting. Must reserve @ 416-850-7639.

Go dim and enjoy the celebration…

11:11

She ended it with a quote from Edward Everett Hale while everybody was still exhaling…

“I am only one, but still I am one. I cannot do everything, but still I can do something; and because I cannot do everything I will not refuse to do the something I can do.”

It’s 11:11 post meridiem and I’m about to shut down…
