Thanks to Katy, I just experienced my first espresso in the patio of MBCo, La Boulangerie De Montreal, a new café on Cumberland Street. They just opened the place last Wednesday and here is what they say about themselves:
“Because we felt a five hour drive was a little much to experience Montreal’s newest and most talked about culinary hotspot, we decided the responsible thing to do was to find a way to share it with you. So we’ve come to Toronto …
MBCo., a “nouveau” bakery/café concept, offers it’s customers a guiltless “menu du marché” by providing you high quality comfort food that is good for the body, great for the soul and pleasing to the palette, working in total concert within a harmonious environment.”
The ambience is just great and it’s definitely worth a visit. Check them out at 100 Bloor West, Unit 7 (corner of Bellair & Cumberland), Yorkville, Toronto, ON M5S 3L3 Tel: 416-961 –MBCO (6226)
Operating hours: Daily from 7am – 7pm
They better pay me back for promoting them 😉 Enjoy!
