The Underground Stories | Take Two

Okay, I know this is going to sound a bit freaky… I got hit on the temple by (or better say my head got caught in between) the train’s sliding doors… the driver decided to open and close the doors in less than three seconds and didn’t realize that some poor passenger would find herself on the floor, having been hit on the side of her head, one leg stuck inside and the rest of her body outside on the platform, in total panic and surrounded by people looking at her in shock, asking her if she was fine!

Life goes on, just like the train which continued its ride and left me wondering in surprise… the good thing is that I’m alive and my headache is gone… looking on the bright side, I now appreciate life even more than before and keep repeating to myself that *life is too short*.

Oh, and NO… unlike what my close circle told me I should have done, I didn’t sue the Toronto Transit Commission!

The Underground Stories | Take One

Everything is calm… it’s wet outside… I watch the rain… I like watching the rain… I walk under it, feel it caress my frizzy hair… my skin is breathing… it all takes me back to many years ago… where I decided to move and live in The City of Rainy Days… I even miss its grayness… oh so much!

Everything is lovely… I smile and enter my daily *underground* stories… the umbrellas are all tucked in their bags… they all crave the rays of a shining sun… sitting next to one another, with nary a smile on any face, reading about bloody violence… this is when I start to feel sick inside, and when the calmness starts to fade away.

I can’t wait to take the escalators up and feel the breeze all over again.

*Avril*, le quatrième mois

This is going to be marked as my first post for the fourth month of the year…

I’ve been thinking for a few days now: why do things seem abnormally normal to you while the same things normally seem abnormal to me? Are you trying to act the character you’ve always dreamed to be or have you really become restlessly numb?

Conclusion:

We don’t live in the same universe but I like it that way, I reckon.
