Simple Things

Another day in the office by myself. It’s raining, which makes me happy. It’s also Friday, which makes me even happier. I’m always more productive when listening to music. Dolores is singing now, which makes me the happiest person. It’s strange how only simple things can sometimes make us happy, happier and the happiest!

You’re so pretty the way you are
You’re so pretty the way you are
And you have no reason to be so insolent to me
You’re so pretty the way you are
Laaaa laaaaaaaaaa, you got to say it if you want to
But you won’t change me
Laaaa laaaaaaaaaa, you got to say it if you want to
But you won’t change me

Have a FAB weekend and stay MERRY …

Music Mania

According to today’s Metro, iTunes online music store in Japan sold more than 1 million songs in its first four days, in the world’s second largest music market! Apple’s iTunes launched in Japan last Thursday, with the market’s largest library of more than 1 million songs and prices that undercut the competition.

I’m just wondering how HMV and other giant music stores are going to react to this. God knows what’s going to happen to their market share in a few years.

Scaryyy …

Tennis vs. Fashion

I was reading the most recent issue of the MacLean’s earlier and came across with an interesting article on female tennis players and how they are generating serious heat off the court! Few years back in Wimbledon, I clearly remember passing by the court in where Venus and Anna were competing and all you could hear was the noise of the guys whistling and screaming, WE LOVE YOU ANNA. These days you see them everywhere; on magazine’s cover, billboards and TV, advertising for the most high-end and fashionable brands!

MacLean’s says: “While other professional women’s sports are struggling to cultivate financial support and a reasonable fan base, tennis’s marquee players are parlaying their ever-growing popularity into crossover careers in acting, modeling and fusion.”

A good article. It’s actually following by one on Kurt Cobain. How exciting is that? Grab a copy on your way home!

Better get ready for my Volleyball game …

Angel

Nothing is more exciting than staying at home on Friday night (!), playing with your new toys, listening to your favorite music of old good days, which says what you exactly feel now:

spend all your time waiting for that second chance
for a break that would make it okay
there’s always some reason to feel not good enough
and it’s hard at the end of the day
I need some distraction oh beautiful release
memory seeps from my veins
let me be empty and weightless and maybe I’ll find some peace tonight
in the arms of an angel
fly away from here
from this dark cold hotel room and the endlessness that you fear
you are pulled from the wreckage of your silent reverie
you’re in the arms of the angel may you find some comfort here

… To Be Continued ……..

My New Toys

It was raining yesterday so our volleyball games were all cancelled. I missed the Coldplay concert too. Didn’t have ticket and didn’t bother to go to the ACC to spend a fortune on one. What a BRIT loser! Instead, I went and bought the cutest laptop and an iPod. Now I’m completely broke. Who cares though? I’m happy. Thanks to the friend, who helped me out choosing my new toys! You truly deserve more than just chicken wings 😉

A Short Trip

We just got back. Safe and sound. It was a short trip but a very nice one. Thanks to the organizer and all the others who companied us 🙂 Too much eating, drinking, touring, laughing but not sleeping! I am fresh now and trying to concentrate on my plans for this week.

Before adding something here let me assure you that It’s not YOU … It’s not ANY of you. It’s not related to my beautiful short trip either but I’m free to say it now:

To the ones who think OTHERS are stupid: Do me a favor, would you? Go right into OTHERS’ A** (pardon my French) and fool yourselves! Don’t try to hide things cause guess what? People talk and OTHERS are way smarter than you and what you think … Now figure out what I meant!

I’m off now. A very long day is waiting for me tomorrow …

Au revoir 🙂
